UK M2 Finance Deals

Hi,

Before i go walking into a dealer this weekend i wanted to know what people were getting from other dealers if there is anything to haggle from list price. I am aware the M2 is in limited production and getting one soon seems near to impossible from order.

No discount as none are available until 2018 in the uk.
6.2% on PCP.
Will be interested when they can give you an expected delivery date?
I ordered on launch weekend 17/4 and have an expected delivery date of 15/9/17.
I am hoping finance might go done due Brexit but the end price might go up due rate of exchange?

If you're willing to pay a bit more for the privilege of immediate ownership there's always PH and Auto -Trader.

Called the dealer says he has a M2 in the showroom! I asked about the possibility of having that one at a discount but its now classed as used so the finance deal wouldn't be good as new and it might not have the options i want. Ill check it out.

He said delivery for orders now are going to be in 2018! however lots of people drop out and there are still quite a few waiting. Dealer is hoping BMW ramp up production to clear the backlog of interested buyers.

He mentioned they have a really good deal on the M240i i currently have a 235i and i love it. Seems my monthly would drop and i would get a slightly better spec to what i have now. This would be the sensible decision.

Leaves me thinking either the M240i or the M4 (big gap i know but thats why i was looking at the M2)

I am going to get quotes on the M240, M2 and M4 to figure out where i stand, ill report back on delivery dates etc...

EDIT: post above answered my question.

Just to clarify:

Are you walking into a dealer that has one in stock?

OR

Are you walking into a dealer to put a deposit down?

Either way, doubt anyone is negotiating below MSRP.

BMW has no plans to ramp up production. What you described above is exactly what they want to happen and part of the sales strategy with the M2. Keep the volumes low (not impossible to get, just really, really, really hard) and upsell to M4 or downsell to M240i. Either way, their profit margins on those are much bigger than on the M2.

BMW finance had just dropped to 5.9% on this. May not be on the website but they've just been updated in my dealership

It is on the website. It changed 1st July when the new quarter started.

I have an M2 being delivered 1st September. I may be selling it on after a few months should values hold firm.
