Fold mirrors after washing

Hey guys I am sure this isn't new to many of you but I was washing my father's new sport wagon the other day and for some reason decided to fold the mirrors in after washing. Anyway pleasant surprise it dumped all the water out from inside. No more drops and water flying out of the mirrors when driving for the first time.

Ha! Great tip. Never occurred to me to try that. I get water dripping out of the mirrors all the time! I'll give it a go this weekend (big cleaning session planned!!).

I do that too! It's funny the little things we discover to amuse ourselves.

It works even better when you use an electric leaf blower to blow the water off your car.

Yup, I fold my mirrors as well before drying the doors, but after drying the mirrors.

Something must be in the water then.

I fold mine in, Air blow them out with a leaf blower and blow gun right till theirs no more water coming out... fold, unfold, fold unfold... drive off... water starts dripping from the bottom lol... Never fails.
ive come to terms that i just give the sides another quick shot of quick detailer after driving the car
