Roll Bar in U.S. Cars Confirmed?

Has anyone been able to confirm, ideally via seeing in person, whether U.S. cars will have the option of coming with factory-installed roll bar? I'm getting conflicting info.

Only difference is the US Spec GTS roll bars come with "absorbers" per DOT.

Yes, I've been told it will have rollbar, and Euro seats are also available as after market sales. Not clear if you will be able to retrofit harnesses.

I thought it might have some good info at the end for the seats etc. and contact names. Not sure how real though. I agree rest is probably well known by now. Someone just put it in one video.

It did not have the extinguisher, that is one thing I asked. Someone on here needs to get a fire extinguisher kit together for all the GTS owners using the factory parts.

Ha ha you beat me to the punch of my own post.

Here the part numbers from real OEM

65738069049 bracket
07129905121 x 3 screws
72607115394 fire extinguisher

Also real OEM for US GTS show no part number for extinguisher. So it may not be available unless by other means

No, can only be purchased through after sales (parts department). All US cars need airbags in the seats which is why they could not offer them from the factory.

I did find out today that you can get the carbon wheels for the car; $15,000 option.

I still think this is a rumor. BMW can't offer the Euro spec seats in the US since they do not pass DOT.

I was told they were; from a BMW NA rep, but that was quite awhile ago. Things could change...

They are not legal for road use, so the seats will be sold the handful of authorized BMW Motorsport dealers in the United States as off-road use parts. This is the info I was told by the ppl at BMW M during our delivery trip.
