Adaptive LED Demo

Sorry, it isn't brilliant but for those that ask about which part of the headlight is illuminated etc this might be quite useful.

You can always tell those with adaptive, as the top half is illuminated for dipped beam. Bottom half is main beam...

I had my headlights on (auto mode) and put the car in reverse at which point I noticed the headlight beam changed (more illumination from right headlight). I was surprised and engaged/disengaged reverse gear several times to check, with same result.

Wonder if it is a fault or intentional. Will try again tonight as it's been a few days since.

Not noticed that. The fog lights come on in reverse, is that what you spotted?

Don't have front fog lights.

So on your 335, when you engage reverse gear, the front fog lights come on?

Same with my 4 series. It helps with parking in tight spots. It also helps the surround view image.

Interesting but that seems to be exactly what my adaptive xenons do. Difficult to say from the film I know but the light looks whiter but no brighter.

They are about the same brightness as the xenon IMO. They move more quickly and seem to react more quickly than my pre LCI Xenons.

As you can see, they have little paddles that direct the light.
