335d M Sport X-Drive touring - First impressions (UK Spec)
http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...highlight=335d
Hi Guys - new on here so I posted this on the General forum having missed the more UK specific Regional forum. A member called 'Teaston' pointed out the error of my ways.... I thought I would put the link in here so you can pop over and have a read - keeps all of the comments in one place that way. PS - I have probably linked it wrong too. Stupid internet thingy-ma-jig... ;-) |

Welcome, very nice car you have specced there. However, i would get some sort of coating on the gloss black interior trim though, as it will scratch very easy.

If it scratches that easily then I shall be having a word with my local Dealership as the trim is not fit for purpose... Trim pieces should withstand daily wear and tear without damage?

They're going to get caught by rings, bags, keys, coins etc. and will get fine scratches. I wouldn't say that means they're not fit for purpose, it's just that a shiny black finish is going to show even the smallest marks. |

The only thing that is at odds with my (and others) experience is the satisfaction with the ride. A number of us have change tyres to normal Goodyear F1s or Michelin PSS or PS3/4s because the ride on Bridgestone S0001 runflats was crashy and uncomposed. Perhaps the facelift car has adjusted the suspension to harmonise better with run flats or perhaps you are not on Bridgestones. Can you tell me which runflat tyres you are running from new, please? |

Well boys we could all be right as my car is a March 2014 example so perhaps things are far better now - I'll make a note to have a test drive when I switch in seven months time.
PS I still think the Michelin PSSs are the bees knees! |

Ill go for the "mine are fine camp" too. I was miffed when I found the bridgestones were fitted but with adaptive they seem great and lots less road noise than my Octavia had with good tyres. Lots less crashy too

No chance at the moment. Prices might need to go up actually, unless the Pound recovers soon. So if you're thinking of buying do it now!
