Good decision, he did not make a good Top Gear presenter, I think Matt has done much better.

So who do you think will get the top job now?

It's pretty pathetic. At least give it a season before quitting.

Could Monkey Harris lead the show? How about a ,left field choice, Gordon Ramsey? He's a marmite figure but would probably get the viewing figures up.

Someone suggested a trio of Coulthard, Button and Mark Webber would be brilliant.

Well be honest it's changed so much, nothing like the entertainment.

Evans got worse throughout the series, Le Blanc has grown on me as he appears to be relaxing and not so autocue fixated.

Agree with you there. Evans is shite Matt Leblanc is ok but looks like his constantly reading the autocue. Jordan is like some pantomime actor the only one who's any good is Chris Harris imo.
The Beeb dropped a bollock letting the other three go, and yeah clarkson punched a producer but who hasn't wanted to punch their boss before.

He did give it a season.

Good on him for giving it a go, it was going to be an almost impossible job from the start.

Didn't work for me though and I'm glad he is leaving. Who to replace him!? Tiff maybe?

We have all wanted to punch the boss, but this was just some teaboy* with a very punchable face! The politically correct stance at the BBC meant it was inevitable that Clarkson was going to cross the line at some point.

Just a shame that this moral stance didn't extend to preventing paedophiles and sexual predators working there.

* There were at least half a dozen 'Producers' like this guy, working for an Executive Producer (the real producer). His role included fetching, carrying, ordering food, but not taking a punch unfortunately...

Glad he's leaving. Harris and Rory along with MLB will be fine.
