New toy :- 435i GC

Well to my surprise Sytner Leicester a week Friday ago emailed me and said IF they could do the deal i asked for, pay deposit that day and collect the car before the end of the month would i still be interested.

Went straight over Friday afternoon to do all the paperwork and collected it last Sunday.

Spec is :-
16reg 435i GC (pre reg with 20 miles)
M Sport Plus package
Interior comfort package

Only thing i wish it had is the power folding mirrors but hayho.

The N55 engine coupled with ZF gearbox is very refined....maybe even a little too refined. I might look into at some point seeing if there is any BMW m sport exhausts to get abit more noise.

Spent a day giving it a proper detail, only needed a quick and very light correction with my orbital polisher (white hex logic pad with Menzerna PO85RD) finished with autoglym hd wax

Sweet. I drive past their dealership everyday and always wonder what's on the forecourt. Enjoy!

Welcome to the best club, I would like a bit more noise from mine to it has improved with miles, currently on 11k. Found that my M135 improved with age to, the pops and crackles were more audible in eh M135 I rarely hear them in the 435 but they are there

Nice looking car and cool username, however I find your lack of faith in power folding mirrors disturbing!

Finally someone's bought one as well. This exact model is indeed rare in this forum. Mine's in mineral grey. But your's beautiful in white.

Definitely would recommend M performance exhaust. In the mean time the sun is out, wind down the windows for some extra noise.

Great car Lordvader Enjoy!
Lord Vader commands the Storm Trooper.

I can just hear the negotiations at Synters "you have failed me for the last time Colin (SA)"

Congrats. Another 435i GC owner always good to see. Don't see many 435/440s on my travels. Up to 6k miles in mine now. Noise improves with miles in sport mode. Engine loosens up nicely as well. Enjoy the car. Looks great.

Great car hope you enjoy it! I have yet to see a 435 or 440 F36 around here - apart from mine!

Mine has a bit of a rattle in the same area. I think it comes from one or other of the parcel shelf bits, as it seems to disappear when I take them out. Its not so bad that I've actually investigated further though.

Just had to pop out and massive thud on my windscreen, great sodding stone chip

Lucky its lowdown on the drivers side so not in my eye line. Hopefully autoglass will be able to repair it nicely, they are coming out today (via admiral)

Nice car,especially like the wheels.
Now,forgive my ignorance but how does it differ from an F30,4 door saloon, like mine?
I assume the different rear design gives more boot space, anything else?
