Engine Oil

What are you all using? How often are you replacing the engine oil? (I haven't tracked the car yet). A few spirited driving sessions but don't ride on the red line.
9000Km on the clock and about to go in for a first service after the run in service.

Also do your dealer service centres write the spec's of parts in service invoices etc? My run in service invoice/doc had no viscosity etc details of the oil replaced for the engine or diff.

Not Rushcutters, it was Sylvania.

Not sure what oil they are using. Lol should I be concerned about this. I Figure it will be under warranty and replacing it in a few years so should be ok ? =)

Sylvania told me the same, the oil should last 25-30k km between changes!!!

They also mentioned that the car itself knows when it needs an oil change and will indicate it dependent on your driving conditions, style etc. They said just to keep an eye on the service indicator and wait until it tells you to come in.

I was told they use BMW oil...
