Sunday morning car wash?

Was 8:15 am too early to be using my jet wash? No passing traffic on my road and I can hear people walking past talking and the birds singing.

But then I need to get it washed before it gets too hot and I want to be out asap enjoying myself.

Weekly ritual, BUT I must admit I get the guys down Tesco to wash/valet mine every week as I work mega hours in the week (80+) and last thing I want to do is wash/clean my car.

Only time I do wash it, well sometimes is when my little girl wants to help so its fun for her.

Yes it is too early! Guy opposite woke us up at 8:45am last Saturday with the noise from his pressure washer! We were furious!

I would say 8 is too early, I think 8:45 on a Saturday' is fair game tbh. Sunday's I would say before 9 is a no go

That said, having self delivered my hip to gable loft conversion the neighbours no longer like me, apparently an impact driver at 10:15pm is bad form

8am on a Saturday is fine, Sunday I would suggest 9.30-10am is more considerate for neighbours.

It depends if you had to fire up the M3 in order to position it to wash it? (I do as I pull it away from the garage). A cold start on an M3 is louder than any jet wash so that'll wake the neighbours at 8:15 on a Sunday morning.

I did. Then it cooled down whilst I washed it, then cold start again as I went for a spin to clean the brakes.

Oh well, it's done now and I feel very good it's nice and clean.

I was mowing lawns this morning at 8:30. Don't see what the fuss is about :

If the neighbours don't like it - fcuk em

I don't moan when their kids are screaming and shouting all afternoon in the back garden when I'm trying to have some peace

Apparently you only have to be "noise considerate" between 11pm and 7am, after that it's a free for all.

My jet wash is quite noisy, I wouldn't dream of using it at 0815. Mind you, where I live we all work for the same organisation so there is more understanding involved.
