It's only practical if you live in a house with a really tight garage or if you always park on the side street. Otherwise it's not that practical imo. No hate just saying.

It depends on your parking situation. I use mine many times a day..for sure lessens the chance of someone scratching or flat out breaking your mirror.

Why £600? This pair with switch are £400 or best offer:

That's not bad then if he does all the rewiring too. So you should still do it for under £350 total, I say go for it, I love my folding mirrors, get him to code them to auto fold when you lock the car too, that's one of my favourite things I've coded!
