It must be about three years since I first found this site as my PCP is up in Sep and I now need to replace my F31 330dx. This site was invaluable when I bought the 330 - helped me secure a great discount, explained the specs to get and how some (eg visibility pack) actually reduce the monthly payments.

Decided I want to go back to petrol and had been toying with either a 340i or 440i, however, with the Mrs in a Q5 and my youngest boy out of the baby seat an buggy now, I don't really need anything too big. Saw some great deals on the M135i so have gone for the new M140i when it comes out in Sep.

Spec is 5 door, manual for a change, pro nav, comfort pack, heated seats, heated steering wheel, advanced audio, MG with black leather.

Got an incredible deal - slightly better than C2C - and a good p/ex for the F31. The residuals on the M140i are not far off 340s so the monthly payments are bloody good.

Banter on babybmw and the 1 series pages on bimmerpost are poor so I'll keep visiting here despite the change.

Looks like the M140i is giving the f3x 40i's a run for the money at the moment, interesting re: the residuals. Will you get one in September?

As a potential owner of a 140i (3 door) I am rather tempted by the elegant coupe lines of the 240i.
Less practical,obviously, but does anyone knows if it drives better or might have any other advantages/ issues?

Well done on the new order, the only thing I would recommend is coral red to go with the MG

I ordered a few weeks ago and last update from TRL was that it was due mid Aug for sept 3rd collection as no point not waiting 2 weeks for the new reg!

Excellent choice. If I didn't need the extra space is probably have gone that way (though would have been M135i at the time)

I was looking at a 340i for the Mrs but have pulled the trigger n a M140i, 5dr, Auto, comfort pack, split rear seats, sun protection glass, fairly standard but it's all I need.

What colours did you go for int and ext? You know the seats fold 60/40 anyway, the through load just gives 40/40/20....

That's cracking, so a manual 3 door with simple spec is going to be coming in around £26 k I guess ? That's a bargain and making it look very tempting to have a drive tbh

Don't think so - I think they start building them next week.

Yeah deliveries start July, probably mid...

You may get a manual 3 door with no extras for under 26 but yeah 26k easily doable
