Mirror Coding

I have a 2011 335is and I saw on fourms that some people have their side view mirrors coded to fold in when the lock button is pressed and unfold when unlock is pressed.

My friends 2009 m3 e92 also does this.

I would like to know if I can code my car to do this with its current mirrors or do I have to go out and buy new parts?

If it has power folding mirrors, then yes it's possible.
I did it myself today on my new e90.

I'm sorry i will not believe this.. a 2011 335is (I-F**cking-S!) does not have auto fold?? Check you window switch controller again OP.. It's a little button to the left of your Mirror selector and bottom left of the directional pad.

As f'ed up as that is, it's possible. I was coding a friends 335is and he didn't have electric folding mirrors. Didn't have the premium pkg. WTF?
