Swop F80 for G11

Hi forum members
I have the opportunity to swop out my M3 for a demo model 730d. The car has 5000km on the clock with a decent amount of extras. It is a M sport pack with 20"wheels. It also have laser lights gesture Napa exclusive seats with massage function ambient air package etc etc. most of the other features are standard here in South Africa. It's mineral white with black interior.

Now I know you can't compare the two cars when it comes to driving dynamics speed and handling but was wondering what decision I should take and what the thoughts of forum members.

One of the reasons I am considering is that I never track my cars and find myself driving my m3 like a 320 most of the time. Here in South Africa the cops are so strict with speeding and the traffic is so ridiculous on my commute I am not getting a chance to drive the M like it should be. Another factor is I am a sucker for technology and love the 7 for its tech. Btw i am47 - is that too young for a 7 ?
I have never owned a 7 before.

Hi, got rid of my M4 as well. Driving in the traffic in SA is terrible and I found the MDCT was very jerky in that kind of traffic. Picking up a new 730d tomorrow. Singapore Grey, M Sport, 20". It's not a M but I think it is a awesome daily driver with all the comfort and assistance systems you could ask for. Still have my C63 as a weekend car though.

I'm only 26 and drive a 7-series haha so I think your ok. I have an F02 and I love all the technology that the new 7 offers so I get what you mean.. Saying where you live and and having to drive slow I'd go with the 7. But me my next car is gonna be an M cuz I've never had one of those!

the 7 does both slow and fast good

it is only 1 tenth second slower than an M5.
