Downpipe install $$

Looking to get downpipes installed and wanting to know who you all have used in the past. From everything I've seen it seems like it's usually a few hundred dollars to install. Just got a quote from a shop in Portland and they said it would be $1275. Just for install. I have the pipes and the gaskets as well. Considering I haven't seen a single thread with an install price of over $500 I figure I will go somewhere else. I've been told any muffler shop could easily do it. Just looking for recommendations and contacts from who you guys have used.

You should probably find it tough for any reputable place to install it as they can't knowingly do so if they know you are going to drive it away. Hopefully you have a small shop that you have done business with before. BTW they are a bit of a pain to install. Nothing too crazy but not a 5 minute job. It took 2 people about 30 minutes to install. that was after waiting more than 2 hours for the exhaust to cool down (put it on a lift and pointed a fan at the factory pipes)

I ended up going with catted downpipes so really any shop could have done it. I had the guys at PRE do the install.
