Map updates for F10 2013 NBT

Hi,
There quite bit of info on updating professional satnav maps on a F10. Still unsure how this can be done on a 2013 with NBT prof satnav with enhanced bluetooth.

Is this a free update, ie just load maps from USB? Any advise?

You have to buy them unless you have the very latest car.

Try this site: http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthre...&highlight=fsc

or http://www.bmwfsc.ca/map-data/

or google others!

Damn - was hoping it would be a free upgrade for NBT cars.

You need to look on your connected drive account on line and it will tell you which services are "booked". Albeit, last time I tried to download the latest map it didn't work, as BMW have an issue with process as the moment (that was the response to an email query). I did get the latest map from an online source, which you should be able to find if you look at my posts...

Creativ101,

NBT ( Next Best Thing ) is Professional Navigation.

Although I have free updates from BMW their site is rubbish, so I downloaded them from the site in my post.

I did not need to pay for a code as I have a 3 year code with the new car.

You will need to buy a code from which ever site you like.

Easiest way is to download the maps and then generate your own FSC code using ESys.

This post will show you how:

+1.

Once you have extracted the base code from the car then creating new FSC codes for future map updates is a doddle.
