335d gearbox sump leak
Finally got the leaking gearbox sump sorted. Went to a local auto gearbox specialist and he fitted new sump seals and mechatronic sleeve with 8 litres of oil for £245. Very good value and one more tick off the box. Getting the 335 back into tip top condition is my goal. Just need to sort out the radial shaft seal now and power steering fluid. Anyone have any ideas on the radial shaft leak, is this the same thing as a rear main seal. Tried to Google it but couldn't find any info

Yes same as a service mate. My gearbox had an oil change in January this year under the previous owner. But the garage messed it up and the sump was leaking. So I've had it redone, hopefully that's the end of the leaking now lol

Sump and seals I meant lol. They replaced the whole thing and the oil. Even though the oil that was in there was very clean as it was only changed in January. I've noticed the gearbox feels a lot smoother now, maybe it's just a placebo effect but I can tell the difference
