Because the news may have fallen through the cracks of the gigantic Canadian pricing thread, here are the changes for MY17:

- Price increase: $2,000

- Sunroof option: $1,500

- New iDrive 5.0 w/ CarPlay: $750

- MPE: $3,500 (down from $4,900 !!!)

As per the M2 Production Bulletin, MY17 will get it starting Sept-2016 and all MY17 built prior that will be retrofitted at no cost.

That extra week will also raise the MRSP price by 2000$ + tax.
Like Benzima said, I would definitely take the car now without the upgraded Idrive and pay $2300 (tx inc) less

Also in the US, 2016 models are covered by the old maintenance program (rotors, blades etc) vs. 2017 models. Canada has the crappy maintenance program since the beginning. The selling point is BMW Canada is the only manufacturer that offers free 4-year maintenance.

Ugh I hope the US price doesn't see the same increase. Why would they release a car at the end of a MY then jack up the price?

The only benefit of the MY17 IMHO is that the MPE is now 3500$ instead of 4900$ + installation...

Agreed. Big price to pay for just turning up the volume.
Personally I will be more than happy with stock exhaust.
