BT stopped working after removing CD changer?

I've removed the CD changer in the boot/trunk as it had stopped reading and ejecting the magazine and dismantled it, I've decided to look at alternatives such as Dension Gateway but now the Bluetooth functionality on the iDrive has also stopped working.

The old CD changer cable has just been left hanging where it landed after being disconnected. Do I need a special cap or something on the end?

AFAIK the CD changer is on the MOST bus (fibre optic) so you will need to cap it with a MOST bus jumper.

Will a Diagnosis interface MOST 6931507 do the same job?

Thanks

You simply have to take the cd changer out of the MOST bus loop by looping it back on itself so that it completes the bus. Lots of guides on YouTube for fitting a cd changer just reverse it for your needs. The MOST bus connector for the cd changer branches under the left rear seat shoulder bolster.

I know this as my car came without a cd changer but I used the looped MOST bus connectors to fit a Dension gateway in place of a cd changer. If you find my build thread there are some pictures
