M2 located at BMW of Berkeley!
I was just informed they have a M2 that just hit the showroom floor. $10K markup (clowns) but I'm sure someone will pay. I actually offered $5K over sticker ($53k) and they refused.

Interesting. BMW Seattle has an M2 in stock, but rather than using 'Market Adjustment' they've installed a bunch of extras like CF bits and wheel locks. Price is $63,645 (DCT + Exec Package). I guess their profit margins on these extra parts is equivalent enough to a 'market adjustment'?

But i digress. So yes, loading the car to the gills with M PERFORMANCE options is a way to add profit dollars to the sale. More than likely the M performance parts are at least 100% markup if not closer to 150%. A set of $230 side grilles probably has a cost to the dealer of $75 so you can imagine the profit dollars in those $1200 -1400 CF pieces |
