Sirus question

Whats the cheapest monthly subscription I could expect. I have a lifetime subscription on a mobile dock and its a little bit of a pain hooking it all up and all the wires. Anyway I just got a complementary 2 months and I like how much more handy it is, so when the 2 months is over I'll keep the separate subscription if its cheep enough. What are you guys paying?

I keep extending mine, and I pay $25 for 5 months.

the way I get it is they offer me the $99 for 6 months, I say no. They offer me $50 for 6 months, I say no, until they offer me the $25. Worked for the past year and a half

Call to cancel towards the end of your trial, and wait until they offer you the lower one. Just tell them it's too expensive at $99, works every time

Sirus really sucks for me, I ended up cancelling my subs and paying Spotify Premium for $13. It has all the music although you have to plug in your phone to the car....that's the only downside.

Every year I do the same thing.

They tell me it's $150 or some crazy number for the year and I tell them I am ending my subscription. They switch me to another department and try to keep me from leaving and I tell them I'm not paying more than $xx.xx and I finally get a lower price. I am paying under $90 for a full year by the way, but only for my car (they used to allow you to stream it on your PC but then started charging extra).

Yep. I do this too. $5 per month makes Sirius worth it.

Yep did the $25 dollar deal a few times too. They really do not want to lose subscribers. I still eventually dropped it though, couldn't take the satellite sound quality anymore. Spotify is so worth it in comparison.

Can you not just change the radio ID for the lifetime subscription to the built-in radio? I switched mine from a mobile to a built-in once, no difference.

Yup I have been doing the same thing since 2013! But might end up canceling as I don't drive much anymore

Even if I could I wouldn't want too. I take it to work, use it a home and what ever rig I'm going to drive.

Thanks for all the reply's. For $25 for 5 months I would do that. At least now I have a good Idea what I want to pay when it comes time to reorder.

They have plans that aren't always widely advertised. The Basic (or maybe it's called the Basic Plus?) package is what I have, and it's about $6 a month. Has the channels I want.

I've been a subscriber for about 12 years. From time to time I'll change packages to get better deals. I think once I bought three years up front, but now you don't really get long term discounts.

For me it was a no brainer on renewal. The sound quality in my car was just horrible. Harman Kardon couldn't even help this out. I liked the selection of music offered but couldn't justify paying for music of that quality. I'll stick with my USB flash or phone.

Call Sirius customer service or go online for information.

I just pay my yearly subscription. Worth it to me as I HATE commercials on regular radio.
