Slight bumper damage

My brother borrowed my car and ran over a short plastic pylon resulting scratches on the bumper (see picture). I took it to a generic body shop and they quoted me $750 to fix and repaint the bumper. This seems a bit excessive to me as I had my whole 4 door truck repainted for $950 last year in another state.

Thoughts?

You could buy a whole new bumper and have it professionally painted at that price. Major Ripoff....

Get Dr. colorchip and do it yourself for $50. Won't be perfect but that area shouldn't be too apparent.

cover up the damage with splitters..they'll make the bumper look nicer anyway. now's the time.

Exactly what I am doing to cover up my mangled lower bumper. Good advice.

Thank you all. I guess it's time for a splitter!
