Carbon Black is the new Blue
After a false start with the Delivery Stop issue as discussed in other threads, I finally took delivery of a different car over the weekend. In a way it turned out to be a better change for me since this one just came off the ship and has a few more options that weren't available in my previous pick.
In case you have not noticed, Carbon Black has a hint of blue under sunlight which is pretty cool to me. |

The individual colors now have black with multiple color tints added. I think there will be something like 6 or 7 shades of "black". I wish they would have added more shades of blue, maroon or dark green for those who don't want such a dark color. The blue on the upcoming Alpina is perfect.
I've seen the stats before and black, silver and white sell quickly from inventory and other colors do not. My theory is that it is because that's what is available, but who knows. |

Congratulations Mamafufu! Love the pic you shared of the light cluster -- can't wait to see more pics of your new car.

See the hint of blue under the sun (and hope the white balance wasn't off)?
Just like any other shade of black or darker colors, it shows dust and pollens like no tomorrow and I start wonder whether it attracts more of them. I just have Ceramic Pro applied for the exterior, interior and the wheels. It is a lot shiner than before and supposed to be easier to maintain and with some additional protection. Let's see whether, and sure hope ,it is really the case. Last edited by mamafufu; 05-10-2016 at 09:09 PM.. |
