Seeking N54 PPK Flash Guide

Hey everybody! I've been looking absolutely everywhere for info on an N54 PPK flash, its ZUSB number, or any kind of details. Can someone point me in the right direction so I can get this flashed with WinKFP. My understanding is that its a MSD81, and somewhere I found ZB 7628584, but some confirmation would be awesome

The PPK is only for MEVD17, and if your profile is correct, then it's not possible for a 335d.

I thought PPK was N55 only?

You're correct, and no. Only MEVD17... Manufacture date 02/2012 or older N55.

It's not for me

Yeah the 335D has nothing

Gotta gut the emissions and get a custom flash. One day after my warranty is out.

I'm looking to focus on the N54 for MSD81, which it appears can only be done at the dealer.

What information is available for the N55, as far as doing it myself?

You can do the N54 one yourself, just requires more effort.

Use WinKFP to write PPK to DME then read DME using something like MHD Flasher or BBFlash, toggle a certain bit in the uploaded DME code then reflash with MHD/BBFlash.

I'm sure crosslinking is frowned upon but this was discussed in a topic entitled "Anyone have a PPK BIN?" on bimmer forums. It wasn't my discovery to share with you here, bradsm87 did all the leg work on it.

I've gotten to grips with the procedure of finding the vehicle type, latest 0pa and 0da files and merging them into a bin. If you can build the maps with the modded addresses and need a tester, I'll give it a shot.

Scrap that idea. Asked the question and apparently the checksum will be thrown off if you edit the byte inside the raw files.

Still, just means you have an additional step to perform using BBFlash.

Hey joe i have a 2011 335 e90. what would be the process need for you to code my car and install the ppk. Also is there anyway you could change the speed limiter so that my car could have the s840 increased speed limiter option.

N55 PPK will never work in any way, shape or form on N54. Different DME, different sensors, different injectors etc. etc. etc.
