Hi, spray a little tar remover over the lettering, making sure it soaks the adhesive at the back of the lettering.

Leave for 5 mins, use a hair dryer to heat up the adhesive, then use tooth floss to cut through the adhesive.

Use the tar remover and hair dryer to remove residue once the lettering has been removed, use a some polish afterwards to bring the paint back to a gloss finish,

What PDK said, a bit of tar and glue remover, let it soak. I used trim removing tools with a thin cloth to pry the letters off, worked perfect as well. The removed the excess adhesive with tar and glue remover, cleaned up and the used some t-cut and polished the whole boot lid. The reason I had to do that was because you could still see the lettering in the paint, however the t-cut sorted that right out.

I wouldn't advise using T-Cut, some SRP should do the job
