Visiting rights only

I got a call on Friday saying my car was being unloaded from a trailer. Once my dealer confirmed it wasn't an April fool, he asked when I wanted it and the earliest could be a week. I jumped at that offer. Turned out BMW UK won't put cars on the system till the 16th so it can't be allocated until after then. So after that slight disappointment, I decided to visit it on Monday instead

Very happy with it, especially the colour. Sits a bit higher than I expected but that could just need to settle after a few miles. Really can't wait now!

It will still have the delivery blocks installed, once they are removed the suspension will drop to it's proper height.

Sweet looking car. Thanks for sharing. Hope you get to drive it soon? Maybe at least a pre-delivery "conjugal" visit. (Maybe a bad metaphor to mix with your "visitation rights" - you're closer to Birmingham, England than Birmingham, Alabama. I think you get my drift.

No, that was the same pun I was going for! And I'll think you'll find the wheel is on the RIGHT side! But by the time it gets registered for road use, it will be time to collect so may as well just wait till then.

Don't worry about the ride height. Looks like they haven't removed the shipping blocks yet.

Somebody mentioned in another thread that the wait was brutal...it's getting like that for me now.
