New battery

Bought a new battery because the original one is pretty much buggered. Not bad for 10 years old this year!
I want to put the new one in, As the old one holds pretty much no charge (as soon as you switch off the engine, you get the 'dead battery' warning.

I've got Carly on my phone, but the single doesn't arrive until Thursday. Do you reckon I'll be ok to run the new battery, unregistered, until then?

It's a different ampage to the old one, so will need it eventually.

Thanks

It will work, but you run the risk of shortening the life of the battery if the car is charging it incorrectly.
