seat position...
Is it me, or can i just not find the perfect seat height/position where i can see the entire dash...
I find either the bottom few mm of the display not visible, or if i move seat slightly higher, the M-Sport wheel obscures the top of the display area... Not that fussed really, as doesn't affect the drive, or enjoyment. I suspect it's the M-Sport wheel getting in the way but wondering if i still need to refine to fine a perfect seat position, or if others have same issue. |

My wife has always found this with BMWs, me not so much.
Seems to be you must be 'just so' to see everything!

Yep! That is my biggest issue as I usually forget to switch the ASS off and have feel around for it while driving down the road.

From looking at the average BMW 3 series driver in Wolverhampton, it's not a seating position, more of a laid back position.
Most have seats at a negative 45 degrees and seat slammed to the floor. |

Head just visible above the steering wheel Either that or all the local inbreeding has resulted in severe growth stunting

Just wait until you've found you're ideal position and love driving it even more Then You'll take it in for a service And some mutant with incredibly long legs and severely stunted arms will readjust your seating position and you'll never find it again EVER !!!!

And then save that profile in Connected Drive. Nothing better than collecting your new motor and logging in on the idrive, downloading your profile and all the seat, mirror, favourite buttons, etc etc all just adjusting "as you like it" before you drive off. One of the best inventions ever . . .

Electric memory seats are fantastic. I had a loaner 420d a little while back with manual seats and they were absolutely terrible.
Really appreciate the ability to make tiny adjustments with electric seats. Superb if you have knee, back or neck problems. I have a comfy laid back cruise setting & a hooning round country roads position on the memory seats

Yeah it was nice to be able to save the profiles from my previous F30 and load them into this one. However, I find that the door mirror settings never seem to recall properly
I also can't seem to get a view of all the controls but having the HUD does help, and ditto for the ASS button being hidden.

i find that with the steering wheel where i like it the odometer gets cut in half a bit but who cares.
as for memory seats totally agree, must have option for me. never buy or spec a car without them as me and the Mrs frequently swap cars. |

the wife finds that the seat on the 335D just doesn't go up high enough but when we test drove an M4 the other week that seat went up higher, she wonders if our seat has a fault?
