Interior lights upgrade
I have the extended light package and wanted to swap from dull yellow to bright white LED
Can anyone recommend a brand or site to check out? I came across one site called Horizon and they offer a complete kit for 38 squids. Has anyone else changed their interior lights? |

See the full bulb list with quantities here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=125972 Only one I wasn't happy with was the T10 canbus 8 SMD for the dome lights (first in the list),wasn't bright enough - so I ordered these instead - and chopped some of the length off so they fitted inside the dome properly. I still used the smaller 8 SMD for the x4 map lights though: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3014411300...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Dome lights are much brighter with the larger 9-SMD bulbs, but as said - you will need to chop them slightly to fit. Easier to just order a kit if i'm honest, but in my eyes it paid to do the research and order the spares for the same(ish) money. EDIT: If you want to attempt this yourself this ECS Tuning PDF is very useful: http://bd8ba3c866c8cbc330ab-7b26c6f3..._Light_Kit.pdf Last edited by alex-qts; 03-22-2016 at 04:54 AM.. |

swapped all mine out. Also sourced them off ebay. Just check the design and sizes you need. There are lots of threads showing the ones you need.

Horizon LEDs have 15, 5 star reviews and and Easter Offer of 15 per cent off.
The complete kit came to 41 pounds include Saturday delivery for 8 pounds. Keep in mind they are all Cree bulbs, error free and, if is the complete kit for the extended interior light package. Looking forward to fitting these babies. Last night my nephew was over and he fit them to his Audi S4 (B5) they looked on point and were not too intense. So I felt inspired. |

A wee update.
Horizon LEDs are as much use as a chocolate teapot. The kit was supposed to arrive last Saturday. I paid extra for the weekend delivery. It's now Wednesday and I have heard or received nothing. The order does not include a tracking number for the courier. The only way to reach them is via e-mail and there is no known telephone number. I'm going to cal the VISA dispute team tomorrow as I paid for it by card. I won't be recommending them to anyone here. Hell the 15 outstanding reviews are probably all from friends! |
