RSTouring Group

Hey all,

Wondering who else had originally planned on joining the RSTour group and what the latest is on that. Given that no allocation information is available yet, is the trip still on? I was a low enough number on the dealer list that I think I have 0 chance of making the trip...

Trip is still on as far as I know. Even if I don't have the car in time I'm still going. Good reason to rent a 911 (would skip welt delivery day).

Still damn good money spent for the track time, drive tour, and M festival.

Also - I still believe being #1 or 2 on the list has a decent shot at being built before the end of May. I just can't see BMW screwing over their biggest market (USA) by putting the other countries first in line. I'm hoping they've been using this time to gauge demand and will open up a whole bunch of production slots for April/May.

Does anyone have any concrete information about the RS Touring groups allocations?

I for sure wouldn't want to pay for a plane ticket and take the time off from work and than be told maybe you car will be here end of May and everything will be okay? Seems risky.

It's been radio silence. Could be pushed to the fall but I already planned my trip to Europe for May so I'll be over there with or without the car.

Hopefully the flood gates open in April for U.S. allocations!

Trip is still a go. No concrete info on allocations yet (same boat as everyone else).

My dealer said he has zero info from BMW but would let me know asap. Hopefully it will be first week of April at the latest. Couldn't make any promises which I understand.

If the car isn't ready I'll just switch to PDC US delivery but still go on the trip. Trying to do all of this on my own later would be 3x the cost.
