Thumbs down bimmertech rear view, front camera and the smart view

I received my kit about a month ago.
They recommended me to a certified installer (gold star audio) in irvine.
Upon opening the package the front camera was broken.
They called bimmertech and bimmertech said they would send it out one month ago. still haven't received the replacement part.
I wonder if they even QC there product before shipping it out.....
Very disappointed. when i put it into reverse it only shows a 3rd of the screen and the 1/4 is the menu screen. Very annoying.
Also the front cam nor the smart view works.....

I called Nelson about the RVC screen splitting issue, and he says to hold down the iDrive controller at the 6 o'clock position to change the display width. That fixed it for me.

Regarding the FVC, it's nowhere as good as the RVC in terms of image quality, but it does its job. Given its price it's not a bad deal as an add-on to the RVC but I wouldn't pay for it if I had the factory RVC already.

I've had great experiences with Nelson & Patryk at Bimmertech and I believe they'll come through with your problems.

What does this kit look like once installed (...referring to the camera hardware)?
