Getting clear bra'd by Premier Mobile this Sunday!

I'm picking my car up this Saturday, and then Premier Mobile is coming to SoCal to clear bra the car the next day. Custom kit + full hood and full fenders. I'm damn excited. I'll post a review next week, but here are some pics of their previous work:

Would it help to put it on the doors as well? I have so many dings on the sides of my S!

Hey asaulo,

Yes, the whole front end: bumper, headlamps, mirrors, hood, and fenders. For pricing, contact Sam @ Premier: sam@premiermobilegroup.com. Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday.

they did my buddy's black red Veyron recently and my R8. Excellent bunch of guys and wouldn't use anyone else. Not sure about Norcal, but here in Socal I have yet to see anything remotely close to what they can do. Every one of my car's done by them and I will not let anyone else touch it. Costs more than others, worth every penny and would do it all over again.

it all depends on what you choose a lacarte. The more of this stuff you have put on the more it will cost. My R8 costed me $5k to do the whole car. The Gallardo / F430 was only the front and it was about $1800 and the M5 came out to be a little over $2k as I did the front doors too. They did my company jet and it was about $3k for the winglets, front nose, antenna box and several other areas. Repainting those parts only on the plane costed me around $10k each time every year, so it was a no brainer. My Q7 I only did the front bumper and that was a little over $500.

The only thing that would worry me is anyone wielding a sharp cutting instrument next to my paint. How do they trim the excess? I'm sure they are careful if people are trusting them with their Veyrons, Airplanes, etc.

Is there anywhere to read up on clear bras and the pros and cons? I have never done it because I thought it always left that awful line on the front of the car. Is it worth it?

Do they do a full clean and wax for you before they apply this clear bra?

This is what I've heard so far...

As long as you get it done by someone who knows what their doing it should be fine as long as you wax it once every 2 weeks and wash it once every week. The film should protect your car from a lot of chips and scartches

Cons, if you get it by someone who does not know what their doing, especially in white cars, you can see a hint of yellow after some time because debris and air could get under the film. Also, there have also been reported instances of where the film peeled off some of the paint.

moral of the story? Get it by someone who knows what their doing or dont do it at all

Congrats on the production! Yes, 10 AM is the time.

Premier will prep the car for you so that it's ready for the bra. I'm having my car prepped by a pro detailer before Premier comes, that way it's ready to go.
