Grey Poplar Trim

Chaps,

Just wondering if anybody knows if Grey Poplar trim ever came to the e90 pre LCI? Is it available for the LCIs; if so could it be fitted on the pre LCIs?

Thanks
Haider

I'm kinda tired of the silver plastic trim. I was looking for options the brushed aluminium scratches too easily, burr walnut look best on English cars beige leather dashboards (Jags, Aston or the Royce). I have heard of carbon fibre being put on top of an existing trim but it feels more appropriate to 335i or a 335d not exactly for 320d saloon family car. Anybody else know of any other trims that I can consider...

You could just wrap the existing trim in vinyl. Vinyl brushed aluminium doesn't scratch!

I have the Gray Poplar trim. I don't love any of the E9x wood trims but the Gray Poplar is by far the most tolerable. Sadly it is near impossible to find a CIC center console trim piece in this color used.

Gray Poplar is the only wood look trim that is tolerable. Piano black or brushed black is nice, and cf wrap is of course a look you either love or hate. IMO!

To me, silver plastic looks like every economy car out there. It is the industry standard.
