M4 sounds like it has bronchitis, M2 sounds like it's screaming.
I could see people liking the M4 cough more (especially if they already own one...), but yeah, I'd say for a vast majority the M2 is the clear winner here. For the others... well, that's your uncommon opinion.

M4 sounds like a lawn mower. M2 is the perfect size for enthusiasts. M4 has real M mirror and a Carbon fiber roof.
Did I do it right?

How big are we talking? Was planning on getting my wife an M4 once her M3 lease was up this summer. Now I need to budget in a testicle swap on top. Might have to go used M4...or new M2.

However, an M4 will require testicle downsizing since you are coming from an M3, and her time in the car will need limiting so as to not overwhelm you with excessive testosterone.

For people who can't tell the difference, you don't hear the difference because the guy in the M2 keeps revving almost constantly throughout the video whereas the guy in the M4 revs only about 2 times (you can tell from the smog coming from the exhaust) and even during those 2 times that M4 is revving you can't actually tell the difference because M2 is revving at the same time as well and outperforming M4 IMO.

M2 clearly the better sounding exhaust note.
That being said, I gave up my no. 1 M2 allocation for an F80.
