Factory PPK for the M235i?

As everyone knows, when the 135i came out, it had 300 hp. A couple (?) of years later, BMW introduced the 1M with the same engine, but 320 hp. A bit later, BMW offered a dealer software upgrade for the 135i that brought it up to the same hp as the 1M. So I was wondering it anyone has heard anything, even a rumor, that BMW might do the same thing with the M235i and offer a software upgrade to match the power of the M2? I realize that the M2 has just been released, so I wouldn't expect this in 2016 and maybe not even in 2017, but I would think there would be a huge market for this as it would allow M235i owners a way to increase hp and performance, while keeping their factory warranty intact. I for one, would be at the head of that line!

I know you are worried about warranty but save yourself some money and just add a JB stage 1
Takes 5 minutes to remove it before any dealership visit

This wont happen, as the internals were beefed up, and most of bmws resources are not in the n55 engine anymore anyway.

JB4 and some bolt ons and youll be past the m2 in power.

Yes, I am worried about the warranty on my new car. I am retired and can't easily replace the car or the engine if it fails with no warranty. Also, I don't believe the JB Stage 1 piggy back would equal the M2 in performance/hp.
However, I do appreciate your reply.

M2 365 HP / 369 TQ
M235i with Jb stage 324 WHP / 358 WTQ

Keep in mind the M2 figures are to the crank and the M235 are to the wheel.

Factor in the HP/TQ loss from crank to the wheel and the you got a very close HP figures and better torque from the M235

And that 369tq is with overboost, for a very short time. Normal advertised tq figures for the m2 is 343. If you take out 15% from the crank hp ur left with a much lower number...

I thought m235i already had the power kit as standard since its uprated from the n55 in other cars by 20bhp. Although there is a power kit available for 335i which bumps it up by 40bhp which is faster than jb stage 1 tune. (yes, we've tested it lol)

the M235i already has the PPK for the N55...

I doubt there's anything further coming for these cars; in 2017 they likely don't exist anymore, replaced by the M240i with the B58 motor
