▀▄ eas | EAS Austin Yellow M4 Gets the Full Bavsound Upgrade - Photo Heavy

Immediately after picking up our 2015 Austin yellow project M4 we noticed it was lacking in one dimension. While our car is equipped with the standard audio system we quickly noticed the flat sounding speakers need an upgrade. The direction we choose was a full plug and play kit from Bavsound. That included the stage I speaker upgrade kit and the underseat ghost subwoofer kit. We also opted for the dnyamat kit to help stop any potential rattles in the door from happening. Upon removal of the speakers you can see how light and small the OEM speaker magnets and cones are vs the Bavsound ones. After install its very easy to notice how much crisper and cleaner sounding these bavsound speakers are. Installation took a few hours to do but overall its an amazing upgrade for anyone that loves their music.

Essentially the same on weight. Nothing lost, nothing gained.

We wanted to upgrade incrementally to hear the differences between stages what way we can give real-world feedback on how it sounds.

IMHO, it sounds absolutely great after the speaker replacement. Bass isn't muddy and the high aren't so tinny anymore. You really have to hear it in person to experience how much of an upgrade this really is.

Sound is awesome. The upgrade got rid of the muddy bass and tinny highs, keeping in mind this is a non-HK equipped vehicle, this is the way it should have sounded from factory.

I would recommend this to anyone that wants a bit more "oomph" from their audio system.
