Hi,

I'd really like to get the exhaust part of the MPPK. Is anyone able to share if they have managed to get a discount off the standard price and indeed if you can get just the exhaust part and not the power part?

Am I correct in thinking the standard price is circa £3k?

Well, it appears that the MPE cannot be installed on its own without the full MPPK and the price for that is in the region of £2400, which is...well, a tad steep. Not sure if BCS will offer some alternative to that tha would fit a 3er LCI.

Yes I think you are right that you have to buy the sound element and performance part together and for £2.5k I suspect they won't sell many.

So, at the time being, one could pay £2,5k for the mentioned MPPK set up or a similar price just for an akra exhaust system (if fits a 340i?). That's expensive me thinks?

The MPPK comes with the exhaust, currently neither is available separately although later on I'd expect parts of the exhaust to be for replacement purposes. The RRP of the MPPK (including exhaust) is £2650 plus fitting, you should be able to get 15% off that so it comes to £2252.50 plus fitting. I believe that's as far as most dealers will go.

Cotswold Gloucester is better priced at £700-750 with chrome tips, delivered.

Edit: that was for 335i. I'll ask about 340i

That would fit F31 340i and not 335i? I was under impression that in the UK can only buy the full package for £2350 and not the separate MPE that fits 340i?

I'd buy it tomorrow if I could get the exhaust for around £1000 but at closer to £3k I just don't think it's worth it.

That's what I've done and was told the full package is £2350ish. Asked if I could get the MPE alone, but haven't had any response yet.

340i MPPK is exhaust and ECU upgrade. No intercooler change.

If you're OCD then fiddly I'd say. The CF part looks like a 'sleeve' and while you could probably clean that part quite easily, you've then got to get in and polish the little bit of metal that's still exposed.
