Wanting a different differential in the 328i
I Auto X the car all the time and also track her from time to time. She has the Automatic in her since the wife didn’t want a manual. I’m really wanting to swap out the rear differential for a limited slip unit. They are available for the manual tranny from Turner Motor Sport with a choice of a 3.23 or 3.46 gear ratio. Or I can get the M Performance LSD unit with a 3.08 gear that works with the DCS system. How much trouble will this be to make happen and what kind of issues will I have if I decide to make it happen. I could care less about fuel economy. She is becoming an Auto X and track car only here very shortly. Any input from people with knowledge would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I think the M-performance LSD only fits 335/435 models. ECS tuning sells an LSD for our cars. No idea about the details though.

Jim stands behind his product. He replaced one that broke for a small charge for me that I didn't even buy new from him.
He even upgraded me to the larger 335i diff (required a frankenstein driveshaft, don't ask lol). http://performancegearing.com
