The last picture looks accurate to what I saw of LBB on the M2 at BMWNA. I like how dynamic the color is.

Yep. It can look dark blue, to super saturated blue, to outright teal, depending on the lighting conditions.
As long as people are comfortable with that, go for the LBB. |

Did I understand correctly the temp indicator is a mixture from water and oil temp?
IMHO tte oil temp indicator should be visible through out the instrument cluster at all times, now it is hidden in a pop up menu, the rest is gone or vv |

Yes that can be done, but then the rest of the info display is gone.
Maybe that (or the oil temp indicator) can be swapped to the iDrive screen? The way the Cayman GTS had those information on display is something BMW can learn from. Oil temp Water temp Oil pressure In a blink of an eye visible and detectable, just perfect! |

Mostly; Outside temp Driving range i.c. fuell capacity For a sporty car as the M2 is positioned the oil temp should have earned his/her own permanent display IMHO |

Unfortunately there is no room left with the current cluster so they had to do it this way. To be honest I never look at the temp anyway so I don't think it is a big issue.

The 1M had a perfect display for oil temp The Cayman GTS even better The lack of cluster room was the reason I asked if info could be swapped to the iDrive screen |

Just curious, when do you use it? At startup to see when the engine is ready for 'action' or during spirited driving etc?
