Just after opinions please, the car seems to have a squeal from rear wheel that gets faster the faster the car goes then when im slowing down the car seems to come to a stop quite abrupt if that makes any sense

I thought the rear is a common issue, and that replacing the pads (even when they are only 50% worn) is the only solution.

When my car was new, they addressed that under warranty (internal as squealing is not covered by BMW), but it only came back shortly afterwards.

If you really want to test it, lift your car and turn each wheel by hand....it should make a noise...

cheers for that input matey, i know its the drivers side rear but just not sure what will be the issue
