FLIES
Got a weird one for you guys. For the past week or two I've keep seeing flies swarm around my car every time I park it. At first I thought I had some bad food in the car or something so I went and washed my car and cleaned the interior only to find nothing. Crazy thing is after I washed my car they got even more aggressive. I'll see two or 3 attracted to my car every time I stop at a light now. Did some research and apparently this is a common thing wth silver and white cars ( mom has a silver ml500 and I've never seen this happen) but my car is jet black... Any idea of what's causing this so I can stop it? They're driving me insane. Especially since this is happening mid December

Did you leave someone in the trunk? Or it's the first sign of the end of the world.

maybe they are attracted to the heat your car is giving off? Do you notice the same thing on a cloudy day before driving (before you car is warmed either by the sun or driving).

Do you have an antifreeze leak? The reason I ask is because as you know Antifreeze has a sweet smell to it so it could be what is attracting them.

I'm thinking either you have a dead animal somewhere as stated above or.... maybe the soap/wax or one of the cleaning products you are using is attracting flies.
I know my dad used this orange cleaner once on my moms wood stand to make it all shiny only to have it attract more flies than a pile of manure. |
