anyone try: Liqui Moly Cera Tec Friction Modifier
My car was due for an oil change at 50k it was no longer free. Asked the stealership how much to change the oil and they quoted me $250.
I ordered 2 jugs of Liqui Moly 2039, mahle oil filter and Cera Tec Friction Modifier. The Cera Tec says it is good for up to 5 quarts of oil - I only ordered one probably should have used 1.5 but put it in anyway. My experience - I was running consistently 27.3 mpg combined. This is after having the CBU cleaned. After changing the oil and adding the cera tec, in the first 1000 miles my car is showing average mpg of 29.4. I don't know if it will continue to improve but that is a pretty big gain in my book. Has anyone else tried this stuff and what were your results? |

I haven't used this product but I use a can of their super diesel additive at every other fill-up and swear by it.
Once your oil is ready for another change, you should send a sample to Blackstone for analysis. I too, am curious... |
