Where is the battery in the 320d
Is the battery on the 320d located in the boot?
If so, how does one gain access to it. I am just curious about this, I am aware that the jump start battery connection is located under the bonnet. |

Open the trunk. Remove the little tray on the right hand side of the trunk, it has a switch you have to turn to unlock it. Then, there should be a panel on the floor board. It simply pull up, can't miss it. Oh, and under the felt of that tray you remove is a mini toolkit, in the event you need a wrench to disconnect your battery.

If I could find it in the manual, I wouldn't have asked.
My manual only refers to how to jump start the car using the connector near the engine but doesn't reveal where the battery is actually located. I knew they place it at the back for some engines but not all. Was just curious about the diesel. Anyway, I just checked under that compartment and the battery is located in the boot on the 320d all right. |
