Light paint polish

Not a BMW sorry guys but the black paint reminded me of jet black. It was horrible to begin with. The car has been washed through the life but it has gotten destroyed by the brushed, no gloss, super heavy swirl! The customer wanted a low budget correction so here we go...

I the paint definitely needs to be compounded and needs a lot more work put into it. Unfortunately the customer did have a tight budget, and I gave than a few suggestions along with doing a few test spots. Youre right the scratches are present, but day and night when comparing before and after. And at the end of the day the customer was beyond satisfied.. Which is was matters most. Not every individual wants a full paint correction especially on a DD car nor pay for one.

The reason I was asking is that it seems more correction could have been achieved while still sticking to a one-step correction process.

Something like Griot's Correcting Creme, Menzerna MC2500, or Optimum Hyper Polish on a Polishing Pad or Light Cutting Pad are great options for a one-step correction process as they have a medium cut while still leaving a stunning finish. As you know, the goal of a one-step correction process is to remove defects without marring the finish... all of these products do a great job of achieving this in most instances.

I understand this may not have been your intent with this customer, but I just wanted to share how a one-step process can still yield a tremendous amount of correction in a more manageable amount of time
