93 Octane

Do any Portland folks know any gas stations in the area selling 93 octane....preferably on the West Side?

Does the slight higher octane really make a difference? I couldn't tell at all from my trip in Europe. I still put only 100octane + since it was offered to me lol

The 100 number in europe does not correspond to 100 over here. They use the RON number whereas in the US we use RON + MON / 2.

The car does prefer as high of an octane as you can supply though. I would love to find some 93 or even 92 with no ethanol in it.

I'm contemplating on getting DPs for JB4 map2 which recommends 93+.

Do u have e85 near you??? That's a great alternative if u can find it

Another option is torco accelerator, it's race fuel concentrate, u can buy it on amazon in various amounts, the bigger the amount the greater the discount

Haven't found 93 yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if you could get it at Portland International Raceway. Maybe even a few octanes higher.
