Near side mirror not tilting

As above, my near side wing mirror has stopped tilting when I select reverse, it's been doing it for a while now but after cleaning my car a while back it started tilting again for a day or so then stopped. I've tried moving the wing mirror adjuster switch from near side to off side and back but still no joy.

Has anyone experienced this?

Cheers

Mirror

Hi
Is it not the other way round. Only tilts automatically in reverse when the switch is over to the right?

Hmmmm very strange! Do you have cic in your car? When you select reverse does the car picture still come up with sensors etc?

Yeah I have CIC and yeah I still get picture showing the sensors. Not that I should be linked but in the last few days my drivers side seat belt has decided it doesn't always want to slide out the whole way, it seems that once in a while it'll only slide out a couple of inches.

Garage List
It's not quite the same fault, but the same connector could be playing up as in this DIY fix:

I asked as I thought it could have been your reverse switch that was all but obviously not, I'm out of ideas Mate! Try the connections like mentioned other than that you need someone new to come and give you a shout
