Winter Oil change

It's been 6 months and just over 7,000 miles since my last service so it's time for an oil and filter change.

Is there any benefit to running 0W-40 instead of 5W-30 over winter?

Not really no, the differences in actual viscosity will be tiny anyway.

Not at the relatively-mild temperatures that we see in the UK.
