E93 washer jets/bottle

Hi All, just bought an E93 330D 2011,

one little question I have is I noticed that the screen washer jets were low on pressure, so I assumed the screen wash bottle was empty or low (although there is no indicator on the dash presuming there is one?) therefore I pulled the cap off the filler and the water sat quite high in the tube. Wondering if there was an air lock or something I tried to add water to which it takes it but very very slowly. I guess this is not normal?

Any ideas or suggestions?

thank you

check all the tubing is all connected but more likely the filter is blocked, common problem, you have to take drivers side wheel off and some of the inner arching pull out the tank to access the pump and clean filter.

preventative measures are to use bmws own brand washer fluid but most likely is caused by mixing the 2 washer fluid which blocks the filter.

have a search on the forums for a more in depth fix and prevention, theres many a posts about it, i know cause i've got the same problem and is on my list of things to do, theres also like a 30min youtube video some guys done too which is pretty informative.

Mine was doing the same and it turned out to be the pump needed to be replaced (small crack).

If you are lucky you might be able to get away with cleaning the pump.
