Hmmmmm. . .

I do need an oil cooler, as I have done two track days and both times my oil temperature hit 280 degrees, plus. Although, I don't necessarily need to install the oil cooler in the front wheel well because I don't have an intercooler on my 328i; but this is one heck of a deal for as close plug and play set up as one can get. I'm seriously pondering this.

I was pretty hard on my car and never saw more than half way oil temps on the cluster. Now, I did not autocross, but I ran a pretty aggressive tune and drove my car almost as aggressively as auto crossing.

With yours being non-turbo, I think this would be perfect. Also, there is no better option if you are looking for plug and play OEM fit and finish. And yes, you more than likely would be able to put it in the center bumper opening with some modifications.

The oil filter housing alone is about $350-$450, that is not including the actual cooler, bracket, duct, and lines. I'm talking with a couple people currently but honestly I'm surprised it is not sold.

I had previously priced the components I need to install an oil cooler, which included a Seatrab oil cooler and it was just under $1,000. If I buy your set up, its going in the wheelwell. I need to check to see if I have air intake on that side of the bumper for the oil cooler.

Like in the actual bumper? Because my kit includes the duct that goes from the bumper opening to the oil cooler. If anything, you may have to cut a square out of your wheel well liner or buy the one that goes with it?

Jesus Christ! I can not believe this has not sold yet. Is rediculously cheap. If I'm you I would just wait for the right buyer and not lower the price anymore. Good luck!

Me neither! Haha But yea I'm not going any lower than $475 shipped. That is more than fair enough. I could use the money but I'm not going to give it away

This is a very good price for someone who wants an OEM oil cooler set up. A few months ago I would have jump on this with no questions asked. I have a N/A N51 and I have done two track days and both times my oil temperature approached 300 degrees near the latter part of each session. Through my research over the last few moths, I learned that the OEM oil cooler might be good for a 20 to 30 degree drop in oil temperature. But because I am N/A, I don't have an intercooler so my thought is to install a larger oil cooler behind the lower center grill where you forced induction guys have the intercooler mounted. In doing so I am hoping to achieve more efficient oil cooling. However, my grandiose plan comes with a much steeper price tag. . . piecing it together with OEM and aftermarket parts I will be spending close to $1,000. As such, I am still eyeballing your cooler and scratching my head; which leads me to this question, how much of a difference in oil temperature did you notice between your OEM oil cooler and the stage 2 oil cooler?

Honestly, I don't have an answer yet. My car is still under the knife at the shop for another two weeks or so. Whole front end is apart. Theoretically though it should drop temps quite a bit. The core is larger and the oil goes through the cooler at an earlier temp since the thermostat on it is 180.
