New 335d

I am looking for a car to replace my 330d.

It is either going to be an M135i or the new 335d x drive saloon. The engine in the new 335d is a peach with a 0-60 of 4.8 and 313 bhp!

You don't see many around...not sure on the looks with the small twin pipes.. But then the m135 is few k cheaper and prob a lot more fun!

Anyone had/driven both?

The answer is the 4 series gran coupe. I have driven all of these and I think the 3 series is now even more common. The 4 series gran coupe is a better option. Driven it with the 335d and what a car. Makes the 335i very slow, but still a diesel but I can see its pluses.

Oh and the m135i is fantastic but I would go auto not manual. The 8 speed box is toooo good. If you can afford I would get the bigger car even if a 3 series is your option.

I had a 330d LCI E92 and have driven 3 M135i's ... i love them - but the right price for my Z4 35iS hasn't come up ... so it stays (and is quicker ... just ... anyway )

The M135i is a hoot to drive. easy and very quick - rewarding, quick and 'sensible' all in one quick package ...
