E92 Issues, not impressed!

Hi guys

Just purchased a e92, i picked it up and i noticed that when i point the steering wheel straight, the car wonders off to the right, so i have to turn the steering wheel left a bit to keep it straight. BMW say it was because the front driver side tyre has no air in it and because its been driven on, the run flat needs to be changed, i got them to put a new tyre on at their expense but the car is still having the same issue. I have to steer to the left to keep the car going straight. Any thoughts what it can be?

Also, i have noticed the car struggles to start at times, any ideas of the cause?

I purchased my E92 LCI m-sport last sunday, its a 12 plate wth 27000 on the clock. Its only a 318i, this is due to my insurance being crazy on anything bigger. Anyway, i found the perfect car which had the spec i was after.

I'm going to give them a call again tomorrow to get it booked in again!

Ask them to do KDS tracking. That should sort out the steering wheel positioning out.

Congrats on the purchase. I'm sure once you get these couple of things sorted you'll love it.

It's definitely just alignment that needs sorting to get the car to steer straight. Surprised they just didn't do that. As for the starting issue could be a number of things like starter motor etc. again they should sort that.

Potentially a weak battery causing the starting issue. Depends exactly what it does when it struggles i guess.

Mines mostly fine, if you use it regularly. But leave it for a week and you can hear it cranking quite slowly though it will usually start.

Once after having the doors and things open for a few hours while cleaning the car, it refused to start the next day and i had to jump start it.

Not replaced the battery yet, but i suspect it'll probably need done when winter comes.

sell it now... if you're not impressed by that, it's performance will have you in tears.
